Workshops: New solutions for old problems.

PARENT WORKSHOP

Ndako·Ona

Currently, society confronts children with various problems that complicate their adjustment and the development of their creative capacity: blurred limits, a lack of motivation and imagination, displays of aggression, excesses, intolerance in the face of diversity.

… What can parents do to attenuate their effects? How and when must they attribute a meaning to the acts, sayings and silences of their children?

The objective: to offer resources to the parents, so they can consider, elaborate and reformulate the matters that worry them. To generate novel acts that widen the scope of their relationship with their children and to avoid the repetition of established patterns and habitual responses to problems, so as to treat unease and distress within the family.

NEW EARS :
Group for professionals who work with children.

Ndako·Ona

Words are one of the foundations for human beings to experiment, learn and create personal and social resources to face new or unexpected situations.

Those of us who work with children know they have their own way of speaking, different to that of adults. This makes it harder to listen to them in a productive manner and frequently poses obstacles to development of the school or the institution’s function.

Objective: To generate the necessary conditions for navigating the obstacles to professional practice. Elaborate new tools and strategies to attend to the children’s needs.

* The workshops are conducted over 8 bimonthly sessions. They have a duration of one and a half hours each (12 hours).
The total fee for each workshop is to be paid within the deadline, before it begins.
