When something is not going well and distress is affecting our daily life, it is not always possible to identify the causes. It may be due to an unprecedented difficulty that we encounter for the first time or, on the contrary, to a recurring difficulty that worsens with time or appears intermittently.
The impact of distress may be heightened by each person’s circumstances. For example, for the following collectives: migrant people in a state of or risking social exclusion, children and adolescents in a state of vulnerability or psychosocial risk and families in a state of vulnerability or psychosocial risk.
At Ndako·Ona, we offer group spaces for the psychological treatment of migrant people, children, teenagers, and families. Groups can also be formed through agreements with entities or institutions that work with these collectives.
The honoraries are agreed directly with the members of the group or with the respective entities and institutions.

Let's play!
Symbolic play favors the child’s task of actively assimilating and utilizing what they receive from the family, school, and environment; but above all, it invites them to investigate what they do not know. This is a basic premise for learning.
Symbolic play allows them to discover new relationships and lays the foundation for them to accept what is different or strange, and changes. Experimenting and repeating what is known leads to new questions about the known things. When the obstacles to play disappear with the help of the coordinators, the child’s imagination proposes totally new answers or solutions to these questions.
Workshop Objective: To detect in the workshop space the particular needs of each child and the obstacles that impede their free play. To offer them resources to transform the forms of relationship they know and create new ones. To facilitate their narrative expression in the family, school, social environment, and leisure time spaces.
LET'S PLAY WITH MOM
Maternal - Infant Play Group
Play has several functions: it entertains and is an instrument for learning. It is also the way children express what they desire, what they imagine, what they need, what they know, and what they find strange. It is the most complete expression of their uniqueness.
The bond that unites a child with their mother is fundamental for their development. However, it is also absolutely necessary for it to transform. This separation depends on the child being able to register in other spheres distinct from the mother’s: school, friends, etc., and face each new experience with their own resources.
This gradual separation entails a certain degree of anguish for the child and the mother. One way to address it is through play.
